Mount G vs torpoint is the fixture of the weekend. Torpoint in good form going into this only conceding 1 goal from the opposition so far with the other being an OG. Mount Gould The obvious favourites but I fancy the new look torpoint side to grab something with a great mix of experience and youth destroying teams so far.

Torpoint were nothing special when I seen them this season, no real attacking threat in the team and don’t think they’ll be much of a match for Mount Gould truth be told

Mount Gould 2 torpoint 1 

from all accounts torpoint will feel like they deserved a point at the very least. 3 goals disallowed (seems like a familiar story against MG tho) as we’ve all heard the same. No words like the previous “match reports” against other clubs on their Twitter feed either, presume they knew that they were in a game for 90 mins. Ref was solid and rightly sinned binned a player for a reaction after Danny brook put a 16 year old in the stand and received a yellow, classy! Word to the wise if you do attend “tothill” as a supporter. Do not bring any children and probably an idea bringing some ear defenders so you can’t hear the obscene abuse from the MG supporters throughout the 90 mins. Credit to torpoint for battling and not rolling over like 90% of the teams that play MG! Think st Stephens lost 7-0 the other week? Them and marjons can certainly hold heads High. MG have a star studded squad but will drop points this year no doubt. League wide open.

Not sure it really matters what happens regarding mount gold they can’t get promoted from this CORNISH league into the st piran league anyway all about the teams the right side of the Tamar bridge
