Grassroots Cricket Season

Wondering if we'll see any grassroots cricket played this summer. Walked past a deserted village cricket this past, very warm and sunny, Saturday and cannot see why they're not playing. Social distancing is relatively simple in cricket as there is no physical contact, players can travel to and from the ground in their kit so no changing/showering in close proximity and (with the weather behaving) the tea interval could be enjoyed outside the pavilion. Extra measures could be temporarily introduced such as banning the shining of the ball, with saliva and the ball being passed back to the umpire between deliveries for wiping with a disinfectant cloth.
