Realistic Expectations of when Grassroots Football will start again

Realistically not optimistically when do you think grassroots contact sports like football start again.  I'm going to stick my neck out and say March 2021.

Added a little poll to see where other peoples thoughts are.

Mid September/Early October. Then there will be enough time to get the season completed.

With professional football being played they will not delay the start of their next season so will only put up a token time delay before non league will be able to start.

It's a test to see if Covid 19 will strike, if it does with all the testing and isolation they have local football will not be on the radar until well into next year.

How many others can one player - who is carrying the virus with few or no symptoms - infect before, during and after a game?

How do you safely travel from Launceston to Mousehole while adhering to social distancing - even if it's reduced to 1 metre?

How about changing and showering arrangements?

Then there's spectator safety to consider; hand sanitizer, sterile surfaces, refreshments etc.

Can't really see it can be an option for non-pro Clubs until all restrictions are lifted!

And the cost with no income(?)

Staging a football match is not free!
