Truro show intentions with today’s signings!

Recommended Posts

Good to see Truro City making signings. Ryan Dickson, Ryan Brett and Shane White have signed today and an indication that the club are looking for the next season to be a successful one and hopefully erase the memories of the season that hasn’t happened!

Established players 👍

Blimey and Rocky Neal returning to Truro as well!

Bit of an exodus from Taunton with Matt Wright going to Parkway and now four moving to Treyew Road, and wouldn't be surprised to see Danny Sullivan (another Plymouth based player of theirs) also moving to a club closer to home. Taunton's chairman talked about them having offered Andrew Neal a two year deal, but couldn't match what was put on the table from Truro.

Clear that they want to finish the job that was brought to a juddering halt in March but, in terms of money being spent, do any supporters worry that they are going down the same road as they did during the Heaney era?

But with the financial mess that is looming for us all for the foreseeable future does anyone else fear that both government and Cornwall Council will be reluctant to release money for a sports stadium in Cornwall however much we supporters want one?

I think you could be right. I recon it will get delayed for years now. maybe Helston will fund it and play there games there they have plenty of money 😂😂

Another way of looking at it is that it would be a good time to release funds to build it. Would employ people in the building and general trades for a year or two.
