Yet more discipline issues for Blazey. Good grief!  How soon til senior management take a firm glance at the reputation? Don't Blazey also have a set up of a Reserve side and strong Youth team set up too? Hardly setting an example is it to have this brute force, win at all cost nature on display on a weekly basis.

Surely they cannot continue to make negative headlines and not expect repercussions for such toxic behaviour on a regular basis?

The current squad at St Blazey aren't fit to lace the boots of the previous players they have had down there. It seems that the players have no respect for the club staff and supporters. They're happy to pick up the brown envelopes which they should be embarrassed to accept. If any of them win anything as players then they might have an argument. I'll wait for that day. Being a strong tackling physical player doesn't mean you need to be a thug!

A Head Butt ?? Jesus that's assault if that happens on the street?? With the attempted assault at Liskeard, the smoke bomb incident triggering a youngsters Asthma attack at Falmouth, & now a Head Butt during a game I should imaging St.Blazey football club have never had a worse 8 weeks in 115 years? The good name before them most certainly is being tarnished now. Very very sad. Club can't keep defending these lads 'trying' to be footballer's ..

It wasnt much of a head butt it was just his head touching Matt LLOYDS face and the St Blazey player was half the size ,also the only pen i can remember in the game is the 1 that Jordan Walton scored from earlier in the season St Blazey had a really good side with the lad Thackeray playing he was also Jack Alenander , I think the players there are not putting in the effort when 1 player is getting paid more than the rest ,i thought earlier in the season St Blazey had some real good players there and had turned a corner now they are really struggling ,even there supporters have said what the problem is and a lot of players want to move on to other clubs .Hope they can turn the corner and be a force again .Money is ruining the league players are getting too greedy no loyalty to there clubs anymore ,look at Saltash that same group of players are the same players that have been there for the last 4to 5 years and they win trophies as well thats what a well run club looks like

Look.....there’s a lot of things said on here which people don’t know anything about. Yes the disciplinary isn’t good at the minute but that’s not down to “players being thugs” there’s been red cards, yellow cards and sin bins for some very very harsh decisions. Im not defending actions from Saturday which were uncalled for but people look at it from the outside and assume the worse. On a football front....yes the team aren’t doin particularly great at the minute but there was a stage where we were 10 unbeaten. We are having a blip which all teams do at some stage

That's debatable,a few teams definitely get better treatment than others, hence y players lose their rag n get sin binned/ booked/sent off etc,it's everywhere not just swpl.

Rubbish.  So you are buying the excuse that refs are picking on St Blazey?

I don't think it's a case of teams being treated differently, it's more that the teams like Blazey in this instance are being treated in the way that their style of play deserves!  Players continuing to act like thugs week in week out.  Attracting the wrong kind of fans which reflects poorly. Teams that are not playing well and/or struggling in the league tend to blame refs or lack of luck as to why they are not winning or playing well, instead they should look at their own performance as a team and individual. Very rarely do teams at the top moan about refs and luck because the results outweigh negatives.

Dave - not saying I don’t have some sympathy with your comments BUT when you look at the fair play league the top ten (worst discipline) have St Blazey miles ‘ahead’, but Bodmin, Helston and St Austell are also there - so surely that indicates top teams are penalised as well (may not as heavily as some could) but over the season it does indicate the manner in which some teams play. I’ve watched St Blazey a few times this season and some of their cards are deserved as part of ‘normal contact’ in the game - but a lot are where players seem to have completely ‘lost their heads’ - that must be an issue for their manager / coach??
