CentreHalf83
Looking ahead to next season regarding promotion and relagation. With Lugdvan withdrawing from the league will there be relegation to combo for the bottom club? Or will it be seen as Lugdvan have taken that place. As it looks likely Penryn will win the league and have apllied for promotion that leaves at least 2 spaces to be filled. I imagine it's one down from swpl and one up from combo. Got carried away with the space button 😂
Dave Deacon
Steve Carpenter, the SPL secretary has already advised on this forum : "As a result of Ludgvan's withdrawal at the conclusion of the season no club shall be liable for relegation from the West Division in accordance with Rule 22f(iv)." Scoffy
With penryn taking promotion subject to them Winning the league next season could be a belter with everyone capable of beating everyone else on there day
CentreHalf83
I agree Scoffy, Penryn are the best team in the league as their position shows. Perranporth are close by and the rest are capable of beating these two but aren't consistent enough to make a challenge.
Sponge
Perranporth are way off it this season

Cornish Dave
Penryn, st Ives and Perranporth on their day will beat anybody. It’s a shame all couldn’t get promotion because they would all cope well in the south west premier

Bruegel the Elder
I think Dave is suggesting that he would like to see all three promoted at once which is unlikely to happen. Certainly any 1 or 2 out of the three is a distinct possibility, but the third will almost certainly have to wait until next year!

More like impossible than unlikely as only Penryn out of those three applied to the FA for promotion. Hayle have also applied.
