Dave Bartlam
Gents, The Dropship Sunday side (I'm VC of the Club which is made up of two Flexi League sides) don't play in the league - they entered the Sunday cups to make up the numbers for the Sunday County Cup but got asked to also play in some of the League cups. The standard in the Sunday League is actually quite strong and considering most of our team is made up of non-saturday footballers, we felt it wouldn't be a great decision putting them against decent sides - that and the fact it's hard enough to get enough players for a Sunday game at home, let alone regular trips up to Par and Tregony. It was something I personally wasn't interested in (playing Sundays), but I was out voted when it went to committee. I don't like the idea of playing in League cups when we don't play in the league. If they hide us, they hide our cup fixtures - hide our cup fixtures, we don't get notified of them
