Saints 4 Penzance 1

It’s fair to say today has been yet another good day for our club.

Penzance started the more brightly of the two teams and backed by there coach full of supporters hit the bar. After that though the first half was dominated by the saints, leading 3-1 at the break, with Kieren Jasper, Ian Barriball and Sam Nicholson from the spot scoring.

Penzance tried hard in the second half, but in the 85th minute the game was put beyond them by Barriball to make it 4-1. The final whistle blew to the joy of the home team and supporters.
The win puts them into the quarter finals of the cup where they are by far the lowest ranked team left, and they will now host Bude Reserves at Lovells sometime in February.
Man of the match could have gone to anyone but Kieran Wenmoth was awarded it for a dominant performance in the middle of the park. 💛🖤

All the best to Penzance for the rest of their season, was nice to see a club travel with so many supporters and all come to the pub after the game, despite the result👏

Remarkable result for the Saints: any chance of a match report?

An even more impressive result for their ECPL side winning at St.Stephen.Who would bet against St.Dominick winning the ECPL ?

Long way to go for the ECPL side but they are bang in form, today was a huge result.
