West Cornwall 1-2 kilkhampton

Great performance from the visitors.

didn’t give us a minute on the ball and as a result didn’t allow us to play the game we normally like to play and had the best of us for 70 percent of the game.

Can’t afford to let a good side go 2-0 up before deciding you want to play. Scored with 15 to go,  then hit the post and Narrowly missed from range but wasn’t to be for us.

the best side from the tie on the day went through. Good luck in the next round.

Bude Town 2 - 1 St Just

I rarely get to Bude, about 45 miles on not great roads and i have to slip into Devon briefly - which is never good. Overall this was an end to end but fairly scrappy game with no clear winner on show but i suspect both sides have a lot more to offer on a good day.

Bude got off to a flying start going ahead after just five minutes but it was St Just that had the better and more frequent chances in the first half, largely gifted to them by some nervy defending, and a penalty on 35 minutes should have seen them level at the break but it was well saved.

In contrast, Bude made no mistake from the penalty spot 20 minutes into the second half and from then on looked in control. A well struck, long range free kick in time added on gave St Just a glimmer of hope but they had left it too late.

A typical cup tie where SNE were in front 3 times and deserved the win.

I wouldn’t say SNE we’re out and out deserved winners it was a close game maybe ruined by some silly comments from the sidelines And some rather ‘strange’ decisions from the officials. Possible red card for SNE that never was and a sin bin for the home side that never should have been. Thought it was going to penalties but with a goal in the final 3 mins the home side edged a keenly contested blood and guts fixture that could have gone either way

Bude won the battle today but having only 3 shots on target and scoring 2 of them St Just feel they did enough to win with the numerous chances they had. Bude goalkeeper made several good saves and kept them in it.

A few questionable decisions from the ref, including a jubious penalty decision for Budes 2nd goal. Thanks to Bude for the hospitality and good luck in the next round!

Losty 4 Polperro 5

Woeful defending and a hard working opposition saw Polperro race into a 3-0 lead and it looked like game over. Somehow we battled back and led 4-3 with 15 mins to go but we returned to our shoddy defending ways and a resilient Polperro took advantage of our inability to clear our lines to equalize and grab the winner their performance merited at the death. Gutted!!!

It was a great game for the neutrals and it was Definitely fun to be playing in it that’s for sure! All best for rest of the season
