Tommy Matthews
Umbro have produced a new boot that some of the pro's are currently wearing where the 2 boots are different colours.
oldasitgets
I'm designing a pair of boots that adjust colour to match the pitch. It makes it harder for the ref to spot what your feet are doing. Will they catch on? Now that under-shorts have to be the same colour as shorts, under shirts the same colour as the shirt, we'll soon have to buy boots that match sock colour. And, logically, the F.A. will insist that all visible skin is dyed to match the garment next to them. (It's totally illogical that you can have skin any colour (Kick racism out of football) but, as soon as you cover it up, it has to be a particular colour. But then, logic was never a strong point with the F.A. rules committee)
oldasitgets
The under garments law was introduced by FIFA not the FA. My apologies to the F.A. (Now that's a first!) Throughout my post, please read "FIFA" for "the F.A." throughout. (I suppose the F.A. has no influence at all in F.I.F.A.?)
