St Newlyn East came out 2,0 winners but full credit to North Petherwin who gave it their all .. superb performance by the visiting keeper and skipper and well reffed too... Good advert for Duchy Football and a warm welcome afterwards at our Pub the Pheasant Inn for all involved..... looking forwards to Tintagel in the 3rd Rnd this coming Saturday in what should be a different matter from our league fixture earlier this season.... Billy Davies Posted November 16, 2019 Report Share Posted November 16, 2019 Queens Rangers 0 Losty 2 A typical cup tie between 2 teams who had been inactive or the previous month. A match high on endeavour with little quality we won with a 1st half pen from Liam Rooney and a 20 yard strike from Dan Carr that just eluded the keeper early in the 2nd half. Credit to Queens who with a young squad tried to play football and kept us on our toes right to the end. MoM goes to the young Queens Keeper who was superb. Jordan Cummins was our best player and caused problems all game. It was great to catch up with old mates, Phil Orchard, John Bates and Dean Rowe and best of luck to JB and his team for the rest of the season. Well Done to Chris Nicholls had a decent game in the middle, although he missed, your blatant drive. 10/10 it was that good. Good luck in the next round.
