Unsafe winds out in St Just apparently so game called off for that reason!! Although I see no unsafe winds in St Buryan either, as they are also on today - strange one. Good luck to all the penwith teams that get their games on, keep hold of your hats!
cornishteddyboy
-Penzance Reserves 8-1 Storm A crowd of 37 watched Penzance dominate the first half going in 7-0 to the good. In the second half, as they have done these past 2-3 games, they took their foot of the gas and it was nearly a 60-40 game in the home sides favour. Storm got a goal for their work ethic, Penzance scored in the 89th. Penzance played a couple of players coming back from injury plus some lads that don't often get a full game. Storm keeper had a blinder. A blinder, not because he couldn't see the 8 his side conceded but for his saves, grabs, sticking his leg out to block, conventional blocks, etc. You hear the phrase he kept the score down, well this time no kidding, Penzance should have had double the number of goals if it wasn't for the man between the sticks. A well done from me. Also a big thanks to John Reid who once again came off his comfy fire-side chair to referee a match. No cards, no controversy, no back chat from the players of either side, few fouls.
Soccer Follower
Holman SC 4 Redruth Utd. Res. 0 h/t 2-0 Pitch in surprisingly good condition after the recent terrible weather thanks mainly to Kyle Marks for all the forking and John Mankee for the pitch marking. Holmans played the better football,as befits a team at the top of the Trelawny Premier League, but Redruth, two leagues below, battled for every ball. Martin Eddy
Must agree about the storm keeper, reffed them a few weeks ago and he is a very good prospect. cornishteddyboy

It was quiet pleasant at Penlee Park, but there again we have protection from the wind on three sides of the pitch.
The Windmill On The Shirt
Should of never played at Bude Town this afternoon! The pitch was terrible and the weather conditions were awful. The referee nearly abandoned it on a couple occasions! I would also like add that both sides played to conditions very well and were sensible. Old 1950

I saw no team sheet 👀 Bude had the 1st team manager who hasnt been playing and a lad that has played for Camelford in the past (who was sub) but retired 18 months ago and has barely played since. Pitch was wet but fine, ball rolled and never stopped due to puddles The Windmill On The Shirt
