What’s going on here?? North Petherwin or St ives no nothing about above? Can anyone enlighten us? Is it because we had by in first round? As did st dominic? Roger Moore
Not sure who has put on about north petherwin receiving a bye but it is wrong.....st Ives will be fulfilling this fixture on Saturday.... ChiefBadgers
ECPL
Is there anyone from CCFA able to come up with an answer. Do the idiots not know that this goes into the press. If you look on the CCFA WEB SITE it clearly states North Petherwin v St Ives Town - RNAS Culdrose v St Dominick and Illogan RBL v St Mawgen are clearly shown as St Ives, St Dominick and Illogan all given byes. But if you look at the first round these three were all given byes. So what is right, are they given byes in this round if not why does it say they do. Possibly something to do with the system that is used? If given a bye in this round then it would come up as a HW or AW?

I think its just an over informative glitch in the system they use. As you rightly point out all three with byes marked against them are the sides that received First Round byes. Mongoose
Round 2 saw North Petherwin host the long distance visitors from St Ives Town and it was a really well contested affair. The travelling team eventually ran out with a comfortable 1-5 win but the score-line doesn't tell the full tale as it was a close tie up until the final 15 minutes. After going in half time 1-2 down the Badgers rallied well and gave St Ives plenty to deal with. The game was well officiated by Allen Johns and there was some good support all the way from West Cornwall that would definitely enjoy the bus trip back. The St Ives scorers on the day were Ross Duncan x2, Josh Magin, Max Clymo and Joseph with Shaun Ellis getting the Petherwin goal.
