Fantastic play all over the field from all blazey players not giving an inch. Brilliant support today from the travelling boys from mid cornwall. Never have i seen a home team score and not heard the supporters make a sound. SHHHHHH!! Drummonds cracking effort making it 0-1 at half time. The final pass or effort on goal wasnt quite good enough in the first half else it could have been all over by then. The 2nd half saw St Blazey up the tempo and Newton Abbott had no answer. They did pull one back to make it 1-3 when they scored a penalty after the ref indicated climbing in the box. But once St Blazey got the ball back after a tricky 5 minute spell they knocked in 3 more goals. Good to see Mike Southgate score after coming on. A note on the crowd......It maybe something like 50-60 at best whick is woeful. Of that, around 25 were St Blazey fans. And as above, when they scored there penalty, not a single cheer for them.......so we gave one for them!! Could have heard a pin drop!! Nice effort with the program though.
