Rob Hosking
I didn't know Ernie personally, but I have heard so many people speak so highly of him, I informed my Father of the news today and he was genuinley gutted. My Father spent many years playing under Ernie's leadership at Illogan and has nothing but good stories to tell me; said that he was a true gent and a great motivator, he also said that if Ernie spoke, you listened! Me and my family send our deepest condolences to you Andy, and the whole family. Mauler

Dave Deacon
I'd just like to say that attended Ernie's funeral today and well done to his two sons Bryan and Andy for their memories of their dad. Particularly liked the mention of Ernie spraying fly-spray on Sedgie as he couldn't find the pain relief spray! Football's made of great memories like that one! Martin Eddy
And Chris Allen’s comments as well dave. They had us all laughing, and as the vicar said the round of applause said it all. Dave Deacon and Mauler
Mauler
The family would just like to say thank you for all your kind words and support, over the last few weeks. We all feel very much lighter after the funeral, with all the warmth and love that we sensed during the service. It was the perfect service for Dad. Gone, but not forgotten. Sport creates memories, but more importantly friends. x A big thank you, to all Isobel, Bryan and Andy Mills Dave Deacon and TheolderIgetthebetterIwas
