Launceston 4 Liskeard 1

Things definitely starting to come together at Launceston with at least three top quality players still to return to what is quite a strong squad.

Liskeard tried very hard but failed to convert some very good second-half chances and Launceston killed the game off with two late second-half goals

Porthleven 1 Falmouth 3

Buchan, Bowyer 2.

Sent off: Porthleven Goalie and Buchan 2 yellows.

Climbing the table now a bit.

I made it 6 players in the Port' starting lineup that have previously played for Town-plus sub keeper Ethan Fearn but not sure about substitute Jason Roberts

2-6 to St Austell at Wadebridge. Bit of a shabby game though

2 - 7 to the Lillywhites.

Highly entertaining game last night at Bodieve.

St.Austell played well in patches in front of a good crowd mostly from the league leaders.

Lady Ref, did a good job and was given excellent respect from both sets of players and management.

Wadebridge Town produced a excellent programme, all in all well worth the visit on a wonderful autumnal evening on the north coast.

Well done to Wendron, Peter Thorne and everyone who helped out tonight.(sorry to spoil your party but it was a good game of football) The new floodlights are great. Thank you for the welcome and hospitality. From Charlie and everyone connected with Penzance AFC

Thoroughly enjoyed the game last night I thought Wendron started off on the front foot and would go on to win but fair play to Penzance who had a deflected shot and a defensive mistake ( but good finish though ) for their goals , second half Penzance sat deep and caught Wendron on the break lots of times which made for a very entertaining game .

Wendron did themselves very proud with the hospitality they made to the sponsors of the club , well done , a great club with good people ..
