Liskeard Athletic 1 Camelford 2

Head count of under 70. ITV were hyping up our millionaires against mighty Kosovo.

Always impressed with the upkeep of Lux Park, nice playing surface too.

Good quality game with both sides applying entertaining tactics.

Lorenz, Woods & Collins put in impressive performances for Liskeard.

My man of the match went to Camelfords Bobby Hopkinson, dominant link up play throughout.

Kian Burns smacked in a second half wonder strike to win it for the visitors.

Recent barren patch for Liskeard & they can feel a tad unlucky to not get a point from this.

Saying that, nobody can complain about Camelford winning, they played some really good stuff.

Rewarding to witness two sides playing the game the right way and just going for it.

Still plenty of worthwhile SWPL football to see irrespective of league position.

Enjoyed it.

Fair assessment of a good game, but what has to be a big plus for Liskeard is seeing Jack Podmore itching to get back on the pitch as soon as possible, he’s been a massive loss for Liskeard.

Went down to Mt.Wise last night, was very surprised to see a Newquay side so disjointed & unorganised. Take nothing away from Wendron but Newquay were dreadful, I said on the way in we will see many goals but wasn't expecting them in the Newquay net, especially after their draw at the weekend. Both teams rumoured to missing a number of players, but with Newquay now pulling from their own tent & Godolphin's how they can ever be short amazes not just me but a few of the regulars by the tea hut also. Very disjointed & gave away two very sloppy goals, but credit to Wendron also for the way they tried to get the ball down & play, their game plan most definitely worked.
