Dave Deacon
Read the following last night on another Facebook page. I’m hoping Julie Wills will not mind me copying onto here as a big part of Darren’s local football time has been spent with Cornish clubs ..... “A big thank you in advance to Plymouth Community Homes for organising a fund raising football match for an ex colleague. Darren Wills played for Saltash,Falmouth,Launceston,Millbrook and Torpoint to name but a few. Unfortunately Darren was diagnosed last October with a very rare form of Dementia, (FTD), this disease affects younger people. The match is being played on Sunday 8th September 2pm at Weston Mill. All proceeds to National Brain Appeal-Rare Dementia Support. There will be a raffle after the match with several prizes including a 32" tv, pressure washer, various tools, signed Argyle shirt and golf 4 ball. Everyone welcome, past and present — with Darren Wills.”
