Trelawney 1

St Agnes 3rds 2-6 Rosudgeon Reserves

Very soft penalties given to both teams and 3 blatant hand balls waved away by the ref put the topping on what I feel was a poor game for Rosudgeon despite the scoreline. Few very questionable decisions made throughout made tempers flare a bit. There wasn't any bad tackles in the game and was played in good spirits by both sides. Chiverton Park in the best condition I've seen in years so well done to Aggy for that

Goalscorers for Rosudgen were Sam Wyatt x3, Chris Neal, Jonny May and Shawn Phillips

But then again, your game could’ve been one of the many without an official referee so it was good of you to come on here and criticise the one you had - that’ll help the situation...!

Championship

Four Lanes 3-0 Falmouth Town Thirds

A competitive game at Cilijah with the home side on top and in control for most of the game. Well officiated. We battled well and defended strongly for much of the match. Two clinical finishes from Pitty And an unfortunate own goal gave them a deserved win. Four Lanes Keeper saved a penalty.

A well deserved win for a side who will be tough to beat this year.

Man of the match for us was Chris Maynard at centre back in my opinion. Overall man of the match either Pitty or number 10.

Sorry I didn’t come back to the pub, my car is currently broke down in the middle of Cilijah which is ideal.

Thanks Tempo, always enjoy the games against you guys. Good battling from your defence, made it hard for us. Keeper made some very good stops too. Good luck for the season.

Falmouth dc 3 - 4 st erme

very even game of football throughout I thoughts .

Falmouth had a lot of chances to put the game to bed but the st erme keeper pulled off multiple top saves . Falmouth was 3-1 up with ten mins to go but st erme showed great spirit to pulled level then last kick of the game nick a winner.  Very hot day and a lot  of tired legs I expect.

falmouth not off to the best of starts but will be a mid table side very hard to get a committed side out for everyone

Gwin 2-2 West Cornwall

Absolute quality game of footy to be apart off today. Think the result was a fair reflection of the match; even though i thought we were gunna nick it in the end.

Went 1-0 up through a great finish from
Josh Bevis after some hard work from Ash Mellows. West Cornwall are a very good footballing side and had the lion share of the ball in the first half but didn’t really trouble stand in keeper Jamie Cotterill apart from one or 2 saves.

HT 1-0.

Second half West scored 2 quick fire goals through no mistakes from us but were just decent well worked goals. After they went ahead he turned it on and dominated the game. Quite a few chances for us but couldn’t capitalise. After a lot of huffing and puffing our new signing Zach Thomas scored with a decent finish after some pinball in their area.
We nearly nicked it in the end with Billy Foster centimetres away from a last minute finish.

Was a cracking game for the neutral. Big tackles, good football and quality goals. Happy with the result against a team that will be up the top this year, Besty has a very well drilled footballing side and will win most matches this year.

Considering we had so many players out today and only had 12 available with Charlie Eddy kitted up even though he was injured I’m very happy with the result! The boys dug in deep.

MOM Zach Thomas. Quality debut at right back and a goal to top it off. Very happy to get him signed on for the season, will be a top signing.

Move on to Mawnan at home next week.

I agree and I try not to say anything about refs as we're lucky to have them but when he gave the wrong player a sin bin for decent then a player had a bloody, head injury and he simply said can't you just roll him off the pitch? Giving throw ins when the ball didn't go out of play etc. Just my opinion. We had no ref last week either and they are few and far between but today he had a bad day at the office

If it's something your club feel strongly about, please mark the referee accordingly on your Full Time teamsheet. If below 61, you can submit a report.

Outplayed mate. Keep that squad together and playing like that and you'll be there or there abouts.

As for the "dives".... Behave. ;)

Dean Kitley, very well reffed. Takes a common sense approach
