Cost of Entry

Recommended Posts

Well done to Marjon for their recent tweet regarding entry to their home fixtures. They have lowered the price to £2 to watch their games, they have had problems with people watching from the car park or gaining entry via the sports centre and not paying to help support the club. It's a shame people feel it is ok to watch for free while others pay. The entry fee is excellent value especially as they are competing with Argyle and Parkway on most Saturdays so for families and football fans £2 is super value to watch a local game. Not everyone can afford 5 or 6 pounds on top of travelling. I appreciate it does go towards supporting the club and paying fees but why is there such a wide difference in entry fees. I think Millbrook does have a similar problem of people able to watch the game by the clubhouse, maybe a boarded fence would deter that problem. How about stamps on hands when people may have paid to watch? What are the thoughts of other supporters.
