John Dunn
I dropped into Lantoom park last night to see what progress has been made after the devastating fire. I was pleasantly surprised to see that things are taking shape which is due to the fantastic community support the club has received. The new roof is almost complete with just the new corrugated sheets to be fitted. The inside has also been transformed from a burnt out shell with the plumbing already replaced and the electrics ready to do the second fix after the ceilings have been plastered. It looks like the club is on target to meet the deadline they have set for playing games in early September. Congratulations to all concerned, it is great to see the community pull together to restore the facility in times of a crisis. iand, Thecupfootballblogger, TheolderIgetthebetterIwas and 6 others
