Another fantastic display from the green and blacks today, having the courage and the fight to come back from 2 down against the league leaders is an outstanding achievement.

Dartmouth started sharply going 2 up in a matter of minutes, and we all thought it would all be the same as the last time we met. but blazey kept going and got the ball down and started playing, and we were rewarded for this mid way through the first half when a dartmouth centre back commited what looked like gbh to give away a penalty, mike body cooly slotted home to give us some hope.

Second half started much the same way with blazey boosing the midfield and dartmouth resorting to try and catch us on the break and lob balls over the top, some with good effect others not. the equiliser came around the hour mark with a blazey player (not entirely sure who!!) drilling a low shot into the corner of the net to make it 2-2, euphoria!! for all those gathered at the club house end.

Mike body also had the oppurtunity to win the game for the green and blacks with a fantastic snap shot just inside the 6 yard box, but was denied but brilliant reaction keeping from the dartmouth keeper.

Officials seemed on another planet today, with strange decisions all round, and bottling out of cast iron decisions.

One final point, any players who try and wind up the local support at blaise park, please dont look shocked and suprised when you get just as good back.

Spot on, Magic Fans 87. It was a very good game, and as a neutral, I thought St Blazey deserved to win after being 2-0 down after ony 3 minutes.

The fact that so many supporters stayed behind to applaud the players off after a 2-2 draw says it all for me.

But for a save of the highest calibre to deny Mike Body in the last few minutes, it would have been 3-2 and what I would have considered a fair result.

As for the referee, the less said the better. He must have been disappointed that his incredibly poor performance failed to ruin a cracking match.

Nice to see Trevor Mewton back at Blaise Park, too. Scouting was he . . . ?
