Good news for Torpoint I see

Recommended Posts

I am glad to see that Torpoint have now got confirmation from Caradon District Council that planning consent has been approved for floodlights at The Mill.

I know from a couple visits to cover games there this season, they were a little anxious about the outcome.

Now it's all about raising funds .... more hard work!!!

Thanks Dave,

As you know when we spoke during your last visit to The Mill, its been a long, frustrating 10 months to get to this stage.

The club Pres deserves a medal for the amount of e-mails, phone calls he has exchanged with Caradon and the lighting company to get us to this point.

We are absolutely delighted, and obviously relieved.

The Committee held a meeting last night to discuss the next move.

We are extremely confident that, thanks to the excellent support from SWPL officials, the feel good factor at The Mill at the moment, we will see the lights erected after a few false dawns in recent history.

More great news for Torpoint is that Adam Carter has turned down move to Saltash United.

Great to see some loyalty from Carts who at the moment is the leagues 2nd highest goal scorer.

There were a lot of people who said Carts could not do at a higher level when he was with Tamarside last season well it takes a big man to say I was wrong so where are all your comments now then.?
