Bazzer
The fixtures are out and we see the same old problem with Godolphin & Newquay playing at home or away on the same day ,this has a major impact on finances at both clubs as it splits the gates thus depriving both clubs of badly needed income. In this day and age it should be possible to fixture clubs home or away on different dates ,lets hope some games that clash can be rescheduled for friday nights. referee
They can appeal to the League. Last season some fixtures were changed but it had to be done before the other Leagues started publishing their fixtures.
Bazzer
Thanks referee lets hope Godolphin & Newquay do this.
John Mead
While it's not ideal, if you've read the info circulated to Clubs, you will see the vast number of restrictions around producing the fixture list. I can assure you, it is a complicated exercise, which is always undertaken with great consideration to ensure it's as fair as possible to ALL teams - not just those which happen to have close neighbours. leedsunited
leedsunited
Godolphin don't seem to moan about it Bazzer ... ? Being 'the towns' club you hold the monopoly for support anyway, what's the worry?

Of course it can with simple thought from the persons doing the fixtures!
Bazzer
Godolphin arnt happy with having fixtures at home on the same day as Newquay I can assure you Leeds The fact remains having 2 teams in the same town and league presents problems with fixtures
leedsunited
Make one team over at Godolphin?
100%cornish
That is one of the best ideas you have ever had Leeds but it will never happen .Newquay got a hard game to start with at home to Helston .There seems to be a lot of games this year when Newquay are at home and the G are home on the same day this doesnt seem right maybe the 2 teams could work out say 1 club plays in midweek 1 week and if both home the next game th other could play in midweek i will be watching both teams again . leedsunited
St Blazey / St Austell, Mousehole / Penzance all in the same boat, although not from the same town both playing at Home on the same weekend will effect their respective gates .. Whistle Blower
Phil Hiscox is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Seeing as all the teams are from Cornwall, play on alternative Fridays. Simple.
