John,I seem to remember watching circa 1980s Penzance were managed by a certain Roger Toms.Is this my imagination or was this correct.

Yes, you are right! He also played for and managed Illogan. He also organised and sponsored the pre-season Studio Ten Tournaments featuring Liverpool, Spurs etc.

Roger Toms was manager around 1991-1994? Took over I believe from Andy Hughes and possibly replaced by Martin Smith.

Remember him throwing big money around on players when he was Penzance boss in the early 90's.

Seem to recall Lee Cansfield, Mike Honey, Tony Kenealy and a few others making the trip down from Plymouth.
