Can anyone answer why officials of the ECPL were helping to set up the St Piran League at the same time.  Why did they not resign from the ECPL

Why would this be a problem? At least one esteemed gent from the SWPL glitterati is also involved with the St Piran League. And probably doing a damn fine job.

The ECPL has been dead for years, it drifted into complete stagnation with the fault completely laying at the door of the buffoons in charge. Maybe they were looking after their own involvement in the game?

I've heard rumours that ECPL committee members have been paid off with CCFA blazers if they agree to merge leagues. The've been told that if they dont agree there is not chance of being but on the CCFA committee. Prawn cocktail brigade.

isn't Mr Leonard on the East Cornwall Plymouth League committee and also an officer of the Plymouth & West Devon Lge ?

Considering how much trouble young people went to to avoid wearing blazers in the past, why would they want to put them back on in their dotage ?
