New Managers at Porthleven Football Club

Recommended Posts

Porthleven Football Club are delighted to announce & welcome Jamie Thomson & Graham Blake to the club as the new joint management team of the Peninsula league team for the coming season. This will be Jamie’s first venture into management & he will be ably supported By Graham who will be leaving his role as manager of Helston’s combination league team to join us. They come to us with a long term plan that we are sure will benefit Porthleven Football Club for a long time to come.

Good Luck Guys.

To be fair, JT is ex Port anyway. Blakey has a chance of progressing as a manager in what was effectively 2 leagues above the one he was managing - an opportunity that he would’ve never got at Helston, or at least not for a few good years.

And has there ever been loyalty in football? A handful of players are loyal to their clubs. This has always been the case all through football! Probably more publicised now though.

When new managers are appointed it is always said that they come with a long term plan! It's usually the same old, same old plans!!

To be fair, saying that the only plan we have is ringing around our old mates and seeing if they're interested in playing for us, doesn't get people too excited.

Big big money at Porthleven next season ... Hearing the Director of Football recruiting some very wealthy people to invest in to the playing squad ... 😀😛

Pretty sure this statement (not necessarily by yourself) is made after every new managerial appointment

Is the Director of Football Sir Jordan Adlard? This is this man with the money at Portleven this year.😂

You not seen all the news about him them! The money is all tied up in stocks & shares etc. He has money but nothing he can get his hands on to fund a football team.
