Mental game at lizard last night and that was just the last half hour, turning up with the score at 1-1 coming straight on to rest Abbo and give Barrie a run up front, lizard deservedly scored a couple taking advantage of some tired legs tho Freddie's was a peach. With 3 minutes left it looked like our recent run was over but Barrie scored a 25 yard lob and we pushed all forward for a Minnser long throw which was flicked on by Babbo and Stu Peter's for 3rd team goal machine Stu Rule to score from 2 yards. Lizard must of been gutted but credit them for a great 1st season, good bunch with freddie, Vaughn-spruce (sorry if that's wrong) and the Casley boys ( I played with their dad) standing out plus Colin kettle one of the few players older than me in this league lol have a great off season x

Bit  unclear what you are complaining about. Just trying to understand your perspective. And no. I wasn't on the line last night !

Put it this way, I can see why you have opted to participate in junior football from next season Isaac, I completely understand your decision to withdraw from the St Piran league.

You sound like a superannuated Magpies fan...you're not, are you ? If I'm reading your runes correctly, you think the Tinners were fortunate to beat Culdrose because of an incorrect refereeing decision. Were you in line with the last defender ? I am advised by one who was that Tommy Rot has made you a nocturnal visitation. How interesting, however, that over many years the little happenstances of football even themselves out. I clearly remember the Tinners losing 3-2 to Culdrose in the equivalent feature because Neil Harvey disallowed a Matt Harris "goal" that was approximately three feet over the line. On another occasion, my old chum Asa disallowed what would have been a last minute St Just winner scored by Darren Ball in a St Just-Culdrose 1-1 draw in the Cup. Subsequently, the pint Asa was presented with in the Clubhouse and the congratulatory enconium accompanying it led to a complaint to the League Management Committee. Didn't matter. The Tinners went to Culdrose and won the replay 3-0.

Junior football, David187 ? Well, at least we won't have been forced into it because of physical assaults on referees, unlike the shower in Smacktown. And the pitch actually belongs to us rather than the council. Our clubhouse has never been repossessed by the brewery, nor turned into a sort of front for other kinds of business dependent on such a range of vices that they could make Babylon look like a Methodist Chapel. I know what you mean about the Combo becoming like junior football. Unfortunately that is where it has been dragged by the self-interested clique from the Porthleven bog and Helston sheltered bungalow-land. But we're founder members, the only ever-present team, and we're loyal to Cornwall despite coming from a separatist European socialist republic. As Robert Graves said in "The Cuirassiers of the Frontier", "a rotten tree lives only in its rind."

Anyway, no harm done ! At least we've cancelled Brexit.

Interesting Isaac, I don’t know where you get your information from ?? As with assaulting people it’s a regular occurrence at a certain place we all know well, and we are all still waiting for your next instalment of the public slating of your Clubs Committee 😂 makes for very entertaining reading, sounds to me you need to focus on your own Clubs affairs as a couple of your regular supporters and a committee member informed me that the decision to pull out of the St Piran league was instigated without even having a committee meeting !  Like you said no harm done.
