Tony B Posted April 28, 2019 Report Posted April 28, 2019 As it's Torpoint against Tavistock in the Fred Binks final. When & where is the final likely to be played
coady-9 Posted April 28, 2019 Report Posted April 28, 2019 St Stephen 2 morwenstow 0 st Stephen down to 10 men after only 20 minutes for absolutely nothing at all the referee seemed intent on filling his book but we took the lead with the wind after 35 mins through Courtney Rowe 2nd half playing against the strong wind Courtney Rowe doubled our lead soon after halftime we were expecting morwenstow to really throw everything at us but it never really materialised final score 2-0 giving us back to back league titles #coys

Thanks Rob, hope not , seems a long way to go for both teams especially as like you said either Liskeard or Saltash would be a sensible option

Luckily this season the two teams involved are all located near St Blazey or mid way. Plus, when asked, we are not going to turn down the chance to host a final. Of course, there is alot of work to do for volunteers for these finals, from manning the pay hut, half time teas, food after the match? Manning the tea hut and having everything ready for the day itself. Alot for clubs to take on. Maybe some clubs cannot commit to that. I wouldnt know. But clubs need to jump at the chance if their asked. MattP 1
hedgerow Posted April 28, 2019 Report Posted April 28, 2019 No disrespect to St Blazey, Saltash or Liskeard would be more central for the 2 teams to play a final.

I personally don’t like cup final there but that’s purely because the last two I’ve been involved in played there I’ve lost lol Paul 1
