Congratulations to Perranwell Res after scoring the winner in the last 10 seconds of a very entertaining game on a tremendous looking pitch at Troon FC to secure the Russell Hall Cup 3-2 .

Hard luck on Praze after leading 2-1 at halftime , but the strong wind sweeping up the pitch had an effect on the game .

Have to echo the sentiments.  Well done to both teams for battling through the storm and especially Perranwell who came back from 0-2 down to win.

Well done too to Troon. The place has changed immensely since I last visited. The main pitch has been tidied up around the edges and two smaller pitches appearing. And the pitch itself was looking in great condition considering it's the end of April. Well done to all concerned.

It’s good to see the underdogs win 👍

As a neutral at the final today I have to say both teams put on a great advert for Cornish football considering the wind. Perranwell just about edged it. But both teams should be proud with the performance they put in. The sweeper keeper for perranwell made a massive difference! Congrats perranwell

Probus 8 - 0 Culdrose

Although the website says 9, we think it was 8.

Probus confident throughout, it was nice to have a couple more of our more senior players back, injuries and family commitments have meant we've been without for a couple months.

3 in the 1st half and our gk rarely troubled.

2nd half probus continued with the goals, good chance to give plenty a good run out, meant we gave culdrose a few half chances.

Sin bin in first half for asking a question, apparently there was a dictatorship being ran, although he chilled his beans a bit later. 'I've been a referee for over 20 years' well then you should probably know the difference between what asking for a new ball and substitution hand signals are which. Lead to a bit of confusion.

Played in good spirits. Appreciate it's a journey back to helston, but nothing from the culdrose lot back in the pub.

Also i’d Like to add that every praze player seemed very respectful and accepting of the result but to see the manager opening a beer when they where 2-0 up as saying “another easy win” was disappointing. Nothing on the praze players who showed class and respect even after the full time whistle

Congratulations to perranwell on a thrilling cup final win. Being in control with a 2-0 lead, a goal being pulled back through mis communication from myself and kizzo allowed the attackers to poke it home. With both teams missing players, it was a very interesting game, and perranwell dominated the final 20-25 mins and scored two goals (both unsavable) to seal the win. A great advert for div 3 football and we were gracious in defeat. League and cup winners joined together on the same pitch. Good season for both teams. Again full respect to perranwell and congratulations, all the best for next season from all at Praze FC.
