Fanfare Posted April 23, 2019 Report Posted April 23, 2019 If it goes to extra time will there be time to squeeze it in with a 6.30ko?

Fanfare Posted April 23, 2019 Report Posted April 23, 2019 Entertaining game. AFC Bodmin played so well and soaked up so much pressure but St Mawgan's persistence paid off
Paul Collings Posted April 23, 2019 Author Report Posted April 23, 2019 Underdogs Bodmin stunned St Mawgan with the early two goal lead but with the score at 2-1 at the break the game remained in the balance. I'm not sure if Bodmin decided to tactfully defend their lead after the break or were just knackered but they pretty much defended for all the second half - and for 40 minutes did so very well. The turning point for me was with about 15 minutes remaining when a goal bound effort to take it to 3-1 was brilliantly saved by the Saints 'keeper. St Mawgan's dogged determination paid off in the end with two late strikes. Many thanks to the Nanpean club members for hosting the match and making everyone so welcome.
