Roy D
Strong rumours coming out of Perranporth today that manager Ben Mitchell has been sacked, following him finding out that the club were looking to replace him in the summer. Very poor from Perran to do this when they are so close to the league title. Hot favourite for the job, reserve team manager Luke "Shrek" Kelland has turned down the chance to take over for the remainder of the season, leaving former Perran manager & current Penzance manager Lee Denton taking over for Perrans final 5 games. This must be the 1st time a man has managed 2 clubs in senior football at the same time.

SID
IMO this is very poor form I know Ben he had a stint with us and is a great footballing lad! I’m always baffled to hear clubs operating in this way, do they not get that it disrupts every aspect of the team? Also clubs need to realise that the mass majority of us do it for free and when your in the mist of management it consumes your life, meaning you have to sacrifice more than what people realise! Shame on you perranporth BigDeal, Leehh, Dave Bartlam and 2 others

Mr Justice
I think there would be a lot of managers envious of Perranporth position at the moment. The league is into their hands. All winnable games. Sounds a poor show. Mr Denton left the club and others like Mr Mitchell picked up the pieces. Not sure how the players will react. Ronaldo
Maybe a couple of defeats and have seen the gap closing they are trying to get someone in who can get a few back playing to seal the title ? Does seem strange that a side up the top have in recent weeks struggle to get a side ( so I’m told )
