deancourt Posted May 12, 2019 Report Share Posted May 12, 2019 I grew up when Jimmy was at his peak in the 1960s and was lucky enough to attend his testimonial game, a 4-4 draw between West Ham and Celtic at Upton Park. Celtic brought a huge contingent of supporters. You would never have guessed from the amount of green and white that you were still in London. Jimmy came on during the second half, looking somewhat overweight, and didn't score for once. The stand-out player on the night, for me, was another Jimmy -Jimmy Johnstone.
