Piran
I deliberated about doing a video or not and decided to use the occasion to experiment with 4k shooting and proxy editing. Here are the results. I must have just missed Michael when I visited the hospital this lunch time. I wish him well.
Tom Trust
Have to say, I'm at a loss to understand that once the lad was on the stretcher, why couldn't he have been carried to the dugout, a sub put on and the game restarted. I remember being one of four players who carried a mate off the pitch - on a stretcher - with a broken leg, only for the same thing to happen to me in the second half! We were both carried into the pavilion College sports ground) where we were warm whilst waiting for the ambulance. But we were happy then! (Jan 1970, the day Chelsea lost 5 - 2 at home to Leeds, which kind of made my day!) I don't mean to sound callous: I'm genuinely curious to know what's changed. Best wishes to the lad: I hope he's back playing soon. TheolderIgetthebetterIwas and somersetspur

Then you had the Chairman chucking his two pennith in saying they didnt have any security after 6:00. Also statements from the Club only state a suspected injury,if the player was released from hospital yesterday, why no statement of his injury and how long he could be out. somersetspur
Club just released a statement. A fractured humurous. Micheal is in a cast, and gone home to Paris. Could be out for 3 months.

City Fan
I can only assume that perhaps the ambulance control room went by information given at the time and suspected spinal injuries hence not moving him? As for no security officers we used to run with just volunteer stewards. somersetspur
Fanfare
Today's health and safety reasons are probably responsible for him not being moved. The days of footballers being men and magic sponges are things of the past. With Truro now having a game in hand could work in their favour as Concord would have to come down again, possibly in midweek and possibly understrength. Also they'd know what was needed with survival in this decision a necessity with the takeover on the horizon. Ever the cynic!

CornishWall
Now knowing that Michael is ok, all that matters is if we can do them in the replay. So if not moving him from the pitch works in our favour then so what. Staying up is more important than worrying if he should have been moved or not. crabpot
We missed the 3 central defenders. Why wasn't Aaron Bentley playing? He has been outstanding since he returned to the club.

Doesnt matter about the injury. Just as long as TCFC have another crack at winning a game they were about to lose. Because its all about staying up. MOUNTAINEER
The farce at Treyew Road, 3 hours for an ambulance and 40 minutes treatment before the player is removed shouldn't have happened in the 21st century it did. Fast Forward not many days, I was at Hampton and Richmond for the Truro game, for the first time I left my heart spray at home, after the game I felt unwell and got into the club house sitting at a table in a bit of a state, after about 5/10 minutes there were two para medics at the table enquiring if I was OK, I said I was struggling, they gave me a check over and left when satisfied I had recovered enough not to need their further assistance leaving a bottle of water to assist me in my hour of need. when I asked what they were doing there they said the clubs CCTV operator saw me on the monitor and called them in because they thought I may need help. I admit that it was a struggle to get across London and home once I was alone for the last 40 miles of my journey. I am booked up for football trips until November but think at 83 years I may need to halt travelling longer distances alone. What this shows is that it depends which part of the country you live that determines what treatment or response is available. Thank You Hampton and Richmond FC and the Para Medics.
