Jubilee Cup semi-final

Threemilestone 4  Hayle 0  h/t 1-0

Hayle were just about the better team in the first half of this match played at Truro College but trailed at the break to a Chris Pridham goal after he stole in at the back post to score from close range. Two superb saves from Richard Williams preserved the lead as Hayle had the majority of shots on goal.

Chris Shackley's deflected free-kick early in the second half put Threemilestone two up and the same player scored again with about ten minutes to go.The final goal came from the vastly experienced Nigel Martyn after a ball was squared to him from the right.

Threemilestone, who now play Tregony in the final, were presented with their trophies for winning League Division Four after the final whistle.

Also congratulations go to Threemilestone 1st after beating Lanner today to win Div 1 and were presented with the Colyer Shield by Chairman Gerald Munden and Fixture Sec David James

The scoreline dont do us (hayle) any justice at all.we played some amazing football and mosty in the first half really went at threemilestone! If it wasnt for their amazing keeper it would of been a different matter! Fair play to them on the win but we feel the result was very unfair considering how well we played!

Mariners 1 Ruan minor 3.Cracking game of football! us missing some key players took the early lead only to be 2-1 down at the break,Mariners had a goal ruled out late in the game which apparently was one of the was it or wasnt it ones,Ruan scored there 3rd goal with the last kick of the game. Thanks for coming back to the pub, will see you in 3 weeks 👍

All three of our games have been abit like that this season.  You've matched us in all of the games and have unfortunately ended up with bad scorelines.

Congratulations to all those involved with Threemilestone afc this season. Nice to see them back fighting at the top end of the table after some tough years. Hopefully the reserves can pick up the jubilee cup when they play Tregony but that'll be a tough game. And will be good to see Tms back in the premier league next season where I feel they belong.

Enjoy your evening of celebration, wish I could be there but someone has got to put up with Portuguese sunshine and 1 euro beers!!!😊🍻

Division 2

Frogpool & Cusgarne 1-0 Illogan 3rds

Odd game - neither side had anything to play for.

Frogpool dominated possession but Illogan defended fantastically and were extremely dangerous on the counter attack.

Our goal came from a Lewis Bax across, which was smashed back across goal by Mike Rollason, to be converted by our man of the match Sam Bromley.

Illogan had a few stand out players but thought their captain was particularly good on the day!

On a personal note, it was nice to bop the ball about in midfield for 90 minutes in my last game in charge at the Richard Jory Playing Field!

Totally agree with everything above, was like a preseason friendly when your just there enjoying the sunshine and some decent football at times.

Attitude of players was spot on, ref was great and result wasn't much to worry about.

Good luck to the boys in Div 1 next year, well deserved.

DIV 3 - Perranwell Res 8 - 1 St Just Res

Full credit to St Just, they turned up with 10, the 11th member of the team eventually joined after the first 15 to make it 11 v 11.

Game played in good spirits and well officiated by the referee, played a lot of advantage.
