League Officer Vacancy

Due to the recent resignation of Andrew Plenty, the Trelawny League are now searching for a new Charter Standard Coordinator.

 

Please see the following for a round-up of the role:

 

Responsible to the Trelawny League Committee, the purpose of this role is to implement, oversee, monitor and evaluate the delivery of the FA Charter Standard League programme/development plan for the Trelawny league.

 

Responsible for:

  • Coordinating, compiling and developing the evidence required for the league to achieve FA Charter Standard League status.
  • Coordinating the production and delivery of a league development plan in consultation with member clubs.
  • Recruiting a team of league and club volunteers to support the FA Charter Standard League process.
  • Ensuring that there are the human and financial resources to deliver on the development plan.
  • Advocating the FA Charter Standard League Programme at league meetings, with league clubs and committee members, ensuring long term commitment to the programme.
  • The league’s partnership with the County FA development and governance teams.
     

Key skills and experience required:

  • Experience of working with a league(s).
  • Knowledge of key FA initiatives and strategies, including the National Game Strategy, FA Charter Standard programmes and Respect.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in partnership with other key agencies – The County FA, local authorities.

Whilst the above Key Skills are requested, full training will be given to the right candidate.

 

Ideally, you will be someone that cares about Grassroots Football and the development of our clubs.

I've currently undertaken the role until a replacement is sought. Unfortunately, I already see very little of my family as it is and with an upcoming 6 months away from home, I need to try and hand alot of stuff over.

Club development and helping clubs is my most important aim and objective, this role is extremely rewarding and equally as important so it really needs someone with the same thoughts but more spare capacity than I currently have.
