Junior Cup SF - Illogan v Foxhole

Big game between arguably the favourites for the cup.

The question is who is going to use the ringers? Illogan have the 1st team, Foxhole with a variety of players from the St.Austell area.

Are you referring to the ex senior players who have retired from SWPL football to have a few years playing in the Dutchy league and a manager who has decided to have a go managing his own village team?  Remember only two senior players can play in Dutchy league football.

I see from Twitter foxhole used a st Dennis player yesterday???..

To be able to play ringers in a semi final is ridiculous...when they haven't played all season for the team.

Hope both teams stick with what they have had all season ...should be a great game

Squad has already been submitted by Illogan, only players used by us reserves all season, no 1st team players  and no one from outside the club, be a bit unfair on any of our squad to do otherwise after all their efforts getting us to this stage of the competition

A team can only include 2 players who have played in 2 or more games in the current season at a higher level unless 28 days have elapsed since they last played at the higher level.

Depending on league ruling, you're right. It is usually five games for the club.

Only restriction if the same as previous seasons is can only play 2 so called snr players & they don't need to have played previously for the club,the 5 games rule comes into place for the final .

Junior Cup Rule 5b States that players must have played at least 5 junior games for the club before he can feature in the final of this competition. 

There are also rules that state eligibility when transferrring and even date of registration. Well worth looking at rules.
