Well yes... But if you think 2 junior teams that have lost 3 games all season between them wouldn't be an improvement on a combo side that hasn't won a single game all year then you are either over estimating combo or underestimating junior football. Also don't forget that Threemilestone 2nd team has players that won combination 2 seasons ago.

Carharrack 0, St Agnes 9

It was business as usual at Ting Tang - Carharrack on the end of another hiding! But they kept battling until the end and just luck prevented them getting on the scoresheet.

Goals in the following minutes: 2, 29, 31, 35, 40 H.T. pen saved by Carharrack 'keeper on 47, then 54, 73, 76, 79 (pen). Splendid free kick some 25+ yards out by Carharrack's Jamie Shaw hit the upright and St Agnes hit the angle on 90+3.

Wore my red hat instead of my trademark yellow - but Carharrack played in white to the Aggie's red! Doh!

Tea still a modest 50p.

Let's hope Carharrack can at least get a goal or two (or even a point or two?) before the season's end. But what of next season?

Yeah it's pointless running a forum if the Moderators can't remain impartial. Maybe Richard should seek out a "safe space".

I won't be donating to the running costs this year either on the basis of Richard's censorship of my previous post. 

You might need quite a few of those rematches I suggested though based on today's scoreline 🤣

Back 20th October Porthleven  could not raise a side against St Just. St Just awarded 3 points, Port deducted 3. We record it as a 0-0 draw as no goals are scored. I know a particular Cornish thing to do. If you look at Penryn they have two 0-0 wins!

Some very well worked goals for St Agnes, particularly the header from the corner in the second half. A very well saved penalty from the Carharrack keeper aswell.

As you can see by the second had heat map, Carharrack didn't really test the St Agnes keeper, ultimately absorbing alot of pressure for the duration of the game. 

I take my hat off to Carharrack and the team behind the scenes as it would have been easy to just fold the club. However, perseverance has paid off and they are fielding sides to survive. With the news that a new manager is coming into the club next season, I genuinely wish them all the best of luck as they look to rebuild.

Watched perranporth vs st day today, st day dominated the game and punished a very poor perranporth side. Very good performance from the saints today will be very interesting next season with the new league. A little sad to see perranporth could only manage to bring a couple of footballs to the match today ? Maybe the money has dried up ?

The heat map is where Dave, the ref, was placed throughout the game and this shows that carharrack were pretty much camped in their own half absorbing wave after wave of pressure.

Was good to get a squad out today and even a sub and at 42 playing left back and chasing young lads around was not my plan for a Saturday afternoon.

I don't have a problem with Richard or Carharrack but his minor abuse of power is analogous to much bigger issues regarding freedom of speech, particularly on the internet. We may as well start somewhere. If we can't air opinions on petty local Football politics, then we're absolutely crackered when it comes to things that do matter.

Mr Trust, I expect that your observant self may have noticed me clicking away on my watch a few times this afternoon. Some may think it was to check the Premier League results but I actually use it as a matchpad. So, I record goals, subs, misconduct (cautions, send offs etc) etc using it. With that, it gives me a pretty accurate heat map aswell as stats at the end - time spent walking, jogging, sprinting etc. It records the game for me. A really good piece of technology in my opinion. It also enables me to create match reports etc based on what I've put on. I'll show you in just a sec if you like

If you are talking about Penryn. For a start Full-time shows Penryn having played 25 games but you add up the H-D-L and they come to 24. At the Committee meeting Penryn were awarded another 3 points for an unplayed game. These results are recorded as 0-0 as no goals are scored.

So Penryn have played 26, won 18 drawn 3 (one real draw and two 0-0 wins), lost 5. So 54 points for the wins, 1 for the real draw, 6 for the 0-0 wins. I will leave you to add up the points and look at the table again.

There is one other points adjustment to come but cannot be done yet as one of the clubs has a right of appeal, so until that is decided....

You only need 2-3 match balls for a game. Also maybe if the players keep the balls on the pitch they wouldn't go missing.

I quote part of Combo Rule 20

"The home Team must provide goal nets, corner flags and at least two footballs fit for play and the referee shall make a report to the Competition if the footballs are unsuitable. Failure to comply with this Rule will result in a fine in accordance with the Fines Tariff."

Only 2 League approved footballs need to be provide but of course experience will tell if the club needs to provide more.

Why aren't games just set as walkovers like every other league in the country? It does all the necessary table adjustments for you and doesn't cause and create confusion.

If Perranporth have such an open ground where balls and up in the road, in bushes or across the rugby pitch then it's common sense to have more than two, unless there are ball boys or able volunteers to help.

With Perranporth's seeming demise after such a dominant start, it seems that the final league table will not reflect the true story of this year's league. Many teams will now prosper thru good luck of having not played Perranporth until the wheels came off or the money dried up. Such a shame and maybe a team will gain a hollow victory.

It's the way the fixtures fall. Whoever finishes top after 36 games will be champions whether they deserve it or not.

Well if perran managed to tidy up the holes in the defensive and stopped picking the balls out from the back of the net, then maybe you might of had time to find the other match balls or have they gone where all the money has ? 🤫

It has done on full-time but not on @cornishteddyboy table

Didn’t the referee feel it was played back intentionally by the defender? Hence IDFK for deliberate pass to the keeper?

I was just behind you Andy with my friend watching and we both said pass back at the same time. It was played back by the blue player after tackling the yellow. Please don't try and blame the referee for the result I thought he had a very good game, let the game flow and had control for the full 90 plus what felt like an extra 90 for extra time. Watching as a neutral I felt this was one of the better games I've watched this season both teams matched each other but perranwell scored the better goal. A truly wonderful  piece of football.
