Trouble is,people actually fall for Masters rubbish.

Question is.

Contracts were signed on Friday night.

So who''s idea was it to reduce admission prices, and who kept the gate reciepts.

There isn’t a lot of difference in what was taken over the gate though so couldn’t have been for that reason. In fact he’d probably have been worse off than keeping it normal price and having 400 people in.  It was a good initiative though to try to get more people in in the future

Western Morning News yesterday (25/02/19)  Page 39

"The new owners are understood to be the Endorsed Group, the software and recruitment firm which has been funding South West Peninsula League club Mousehole."

If this is true, what does it mean for Mousehole & maybe the SFC?

If what the WMN is reporting is correct, then what does this mean in terms of plurality of club ownership? Would Mousehole and Truro have to merge? Would Mousehole exist purely as a reserve and third team to TCFC? Could be a big thing in terms of the Endorsed Academy developing young players (hopefully Cornish), and then seeing them progress through to National League level. It was obvious from the poorly handled attempt to engineer a reverse takeover of Penzance last summer, and then bringing  Kevin Nicholson to the club, that their  ambitions lay well beyond step 6 football , but the TCFC faithful must be wary of more big ideas and even bigger dreams from (initially at least) generous benefactors.

The Executive Chairman of the Endorsed Group is Ezra Chapman.

https://www.endorsed.com/about

The Endorsed Group signed a 5 year sponsorship deal with Mousehole in June 2017.

https://www.mouseholeafc.co.uk/endorsed-group-sponsorship-ezra-chapman/

He was was listed on the Mousehole AFC website as an “ Advisor” to the club.

https://www.mouseholeafc.co.uk/about-the-club/

Currently the About section of the Mousehole AFC website provides no information about individuals who run the club.

Don't no, but at a guess friends the endorsed guy is local from what i've read.

Ezra played off and on for Mousehole for several years, from at least 1992-2003.

He is a local chap, who has the cub (presently Mousehole) in his heart, not a speculator type like the previous owner of Truro City.

If Endorsed have purchased the "name and league standing" of Truro City, "as it has no major assets bar that", the club should be in good hands.

Oh Ray ... You are being very naive here. Your new stadium is not coming ... All your going to get is a 'Sexed' up Treyew Road with adequate facilities for Premiership Rugby only. Better get Malpas pre warned ... & The SWPL league 🤣🤣

I like your predictions Leeds they are always wrong just like you saying Truro are just tadpoles in the eyes of the FA and will not play at Treyew Road again this season. Personally I would love to be back playing in the SWPL but the only way now is UP so very unlikely unless we get our reserve team back which is now a strong possibility.  :c:

And the reserve side would play at the new stadium?

Get away...50 odd in a stadium like that!

Nice to hear from the Penryn branch of the anti Truro brigade your comments are always very welcome. Still waiting to hear from the Falmouth branch, Mattelot town man and the quiet man are very quiet for a change, speechless in fact. No comment from the St Agnes branch either but we did get a response from the Bodmin branch for what it was worth.

St Agnes branch reporting for duty!!

If the Pirates taking over Truro City makes it a community club then I’m all for it.

Not a good day Nige, conceding two goals early in each half not ideal and eventually going down 3.1, players blaming the pitch which suited East Thurrock better, couldn't get into there usual passing game, still five points clear of relegation so shouldn't be a problem. If the game had been played on the billiard table surface at Bickland Park I'm sure City would have won. Finally thanks to everyone for there kind comments regarding the takeover and don't forget to contribute to keeping this forum active. Onwards and upwards :c:

Heard today 'Big' Dickie going to build up Treyew Road to meet the criteria of Premiership Rugby only, this will still see an improvement  to the current ground but nowhere near to what the football club would need to enter the National League ( IF that day ever came 🤣 )

He has given up his dream of a Stadium for Cornwall hence using this route to get his dream of playing Premiership Rugby. It seems the Football Club will play 'second fiddle's to the rugby ... ( Why not Dickie is a rugby man after all! )

Looking bleak for Truro City it seems. Steve 'Money' Massey is reported to of been contacted already about becoming new manager at the very latest start of next season. With a dream called 30/30 👌

Who owns the land these days?

Pump money into a stadium on land you don't own.

Fools and there money are soon parted otherwise...better be a 100 year lease.

There's only one mentioned that could afford to throw away that sort of money.

And there was I thinking Ray2B Taxis were going to be the new owners and bring the old crew back 😟 Pasties in the tea hut with Tommy keeping the car park in order.

Still, a boy can dream. :)

Would love to get invoved in the running of our Football Club again City Fan as would a lot of the other culled red and blacks I would imagine. Not so sure about Tommy though, think he is about 85 now and takes him ten minutes to cross the car park but still seen at as many home matches as he is able. As for Ray2b taxis who knows what lies in the future and as in the words of a former chairman Never say never.  💷 Loadsa money💷
