The League Secretary has invoked ruling 20.e.iii - Clubs can call off the games due to pitch conditions because of the bad weather without the need for an FA qualified referee inspecting the pitch. That responsibility now lies with a club official.

Please follow protocol by informing David James, Paul Murphy, opposition and the match official. No need to contact Dave B.

Great ding-dong battle at Penlee Park as Penzance Reserves overcome a stubborn Troon Reserves side. Score went 1-0, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2, 3-2 for a home side half-time lead. Two late late goals saw Troon get on level terms before conceding 3 mins later (the 87th min) letting the hosts take 3 points. So the home supporters amongst the 27 supporters go home happy, whilst the 4-3 lifts the Magpies a couple of places.

On a footnote, with Mousehoe 3rds folding before the season started but after the AGM only one club to be relegated. Will that be Storm or are there enough sides wanting to enter the league allowing Storm to stay up?

Whoever finishes 13 will go down as only 1 side pulled out.doesn't and shouldn't matter how many come up from div 4... storm may still stay up anyway teams struggle to fulfill fixtures late on during season and usually get deducted points..if 2 teams pulled out of div 3 there would of been no relegation

St Erme - 4  St Agnes 3rds - 2

A tough game as always when these two meet, but the hosts claimed the win to take points.

Elliott Jolly x 2, Mark Mitchell x 1 and George Brown x 1 with the goals, Brandon Light replying with 2 for Aggie.

Game did get a little silly towards the end but nothing major and ref dealt with it well, an important 3 pts for St Erme who have a tough run of games coming up.

Good luck to Wellsy and Aggie who’ll cause teams problems as the season comes to an end!

Trelawney 1.

Wendron 0-2 Threemilestone (M.Jay, Snape)

It was always going to be a tight game when the 2nd & 3rd placed teams met at Underlane. With a strong wind heading straight down the pitch towards the changing rooms Tms skipper Joel Snape superbly picked tails (which never fails) to win the toss & decided to play against the wind in the 1st half. On a pitch which neither side were going to be able to play attractive football on, Tms co-manager Matthew "Klunk" Kemp made sure his men were up for a battle. Wendron enjoyed plenty of possession & territory early on but didn't create many chances & found it difficult to break down the experienced Tms back line. The stones were on the back foot for much of the 1st half, with big Martyn "Bert" Jay putting in some crunching tackles in vital areas. Tms could themselves have scored with Jay,  Dave Welfare & Harry Wilkinson all going close on the counter attack & the wendron keeper making some superb saves, but Wendron were well on top. The stones knew it was vital to go in at half time at 0-0, with 5 minutes to go, the wendron #10 drove in from the left, cut in to the box at pace & only had the covering Sam Vage to beat, Vage managed to get there in time, kept his eyes on the ball & waited for his chance to attempt the tackle , he then lunged in, totally missed the ball & cleaned out the Wendron forward for a penalty. But luckily for the stones, the wendron #9 blazed over from 12 yards & the teams went in level. The 2nd half was a reverse of the 1st, with the stones enjoying all of the possession & the game being played in the Wendron half. Full back Tom Quinn, returning from a loan spell at AFC Moss Side, was finding more & more joy down the left & the front 3 of Callum Sidwell, Snape & Welfare started to press the wendron back line & force mistakes. It wasn't long before stones won the ball back in the wendron 3rd, then some neat 1-touch football put "Bert" Jay in, who fired his strike into the bottom corner, giving the home keeper no chance. 15 minutes later the stones made it 2 when Sidwell was put in down the right, but unselfishly squared the ball to Snape who rocketed his strike into the roof of the net for 2-0. Wendron never gave up but failed to create many chances from open play & stones ran out deserved winners.

Mom - Martyn Jay

The thoughts & prayers of all at Threemilestone FC are with Wendron Chairman Kevin Williamson who was taken to hospital by air ambulance immediately after the game. We hope for the best possible news.

Falmouth Utd 1 - 3 Marazion

A nice cold sunny dry day for this match which was probably the best bit about the afternoon as far as Falmouth were concerned. We were poor, and credit to Marazion who were much quicker to the ball and out fought us in every department.

A lot of talk on this forum lately about referees, I'd like to give a special mention to our young referee yesterday (Oliver Knibb), I thought he had a great game. He was quietly authoritative, made good decisions and was consistent throughout the game.

Thanks to Marazion who came back to the pub, apologies for the TV not working and the food being late - just about summed our afternoon up!

Did you not get ‘round to finishing your forum name? I presume that you intended to be called “United west and east” all run together and then forgot to add the last word. I personally am all for combining two opposite points of the compass🇪🇺 🇨🇳‼️
