Fanfare
The Junior Cup semi final last season aside, have Hayle used their floodlights for a competitive game yet? Was hoping for maybe an October/November midweek game against maybe RNAS Culdrose when they usually play the teams with lights to up their games after their delayed start. TheolderIgetthebetterIwas
Floodlights are an additional cost to a game and are not used ad hoc by any club with them. Expensive things to buy and run. It is not just running them, but the standing charge can be substantial. The main cost is starting them, once running and warmed up the cost reduces. If a game can attract a decent crowd to offset that cost then it is always considered if viable. To turn them on for the last 15/20 minutes would be avoided by most clubs I would think.
