Maybe if Newquay didn't pull in 4/5 1st teamers v St Stephen the other week there regular players might of been keener to travel today

Adlestrop 126
Leave out regulars when 1st team has no game:or even worse, ringers. How do you think St.Stephen knocked Saltash (played mid-week!) out of the League cup ?
Dave Deacon 0
Was it a case of bringing in first teamers to boost the side, or because the seconds were also struggling on that occasion?
Adlestrop 126
I don't know:probably a bit of both.

We beat saltash in the cup "mid week " because we wer the better side on both occasions (1st game abandoned due to weather),we played 2 so called ringers do to shortage of numbers mid week with a new signing,a 16yr old & a 2nd teamer(duchy 3) on the bench.dont forget in the 1st game saltash had 2 1st teamers on so I'd say thas fairly equal
Dave Deacon 0
But surely as a club, you can use any player within that club?
