Ian Pethick
Highly recommended book for anybody with any interest in non league football. It is about Ian Ridley ( biographer of Tony Adams, football writer for The Observer amongst others) taking over as chairman at his hometown club, Weymouth, back in 2004, and how he attempts to drag them out of the doldrums. A real eye opener, takes the lid off his battles with the vested interests, short term decisions and plain old bad management that took the famous old club to the brink of extinction.
