I suppose quite a few of us watched this match last night - I thought over all Man City completely outplayed Liverpool. I was a little surprised at Liverpool's approach to the match too, as evidenced by the way they played. I thought that Liverpool's expensive goal keeper should have saved the first City goal too - beaten at the near post.

I was delighted with the result, as it keeps the title race alive, and also I'd hate to see those scousers get their hands on the trophy. Can any let me know where Salah was though? Didn't see him at all last night!

An hour of utter rubbish before it even resembled a football match.

There must have been 100+ passes across both back lines, and the most passes back to the keeper I've ever seen.

And - they are paid tens of thousands of pounds per week for it too older ! 

Rubbish hardly describes it - but it will suffice. What a waste of money.

Hundreds of thousands these days!

Trade description act should be applied to football as well...we'd all get our money back for that non entity of a purported football match.

Chelsea v Southampton on Wednesday followed the same pattern in the first half. Keep the ball at all costs and hope something happens. I thought Conte’s tactics were very negative, has nothing on Sarri. Rightly booed off the pitch although they did show a bit more positivity in the second half. Sometimes it takes 90 mins to score, can’t rely on 45.
