When you look at the list past and present,giving Harry the MBE isn't so bad. Cheer up and be happy for the boy. Its good for the fame we love. Football. Game. Yes he scored 6 goals, but 3 were penalties and only 1 from open play and we failed to get to the final. So he's getting the golden boot AND the MBE for that!!!! The awards system isn't commemorating the Empire Darin - it's supposed to award people who have carried out work that has been for the betterment of the nation in whatever field. The problem is that it has become a farce - decorating the famous in entertainment, sport etc., and thereby in my opinion, devaluing the whole original idea.
