Camelford v Bodmin

[SWL Veteran]

After a very challenging Boxing Day - Gilby and his Bodmin team  got a result in very testing conditions.  I was very impressed with the tactics - especially when they were down to 9 for about 35 minutes.  Referee was inconsistent but faced a constant barrage of abuse from players and spectators. 

Camelford didn’t threaten too much  and relied heavily on the long ball to insley.

Gilby deserves his critics when swearing etc but the man also deserves acknowledgement so let’s just say he managed the game.

 

As for Camelford - they continue to lack real quality but work hard and try to impose their physical approach onto their opponents - I’m sure they will be fine again
