Big rumours that Madron can't raise a team for their cup game with Hayle 3rds. Also Boscowan Park unplayable after the downpour so Threemilestones game with lizard set to be postponed.

So this afternoon Hayle 3rds will host Threemilestone reserves on their 3G pitch. 1st vs 3rd in Trelawney 4.

Madron confirmed last night that they can't raise a side, therefore Hayle Thirds receive a bye in the Jubilee Cup.

The Fixtures Secretary is now looking at getting another game on at Hayle in Division 4. Nothing is confirmed at this moment.

Rumours Dave 😉

Facts unfortunately :( it seems that when JP is away with work, everything falls to pot down there. He's worked really hard to overturn Madrons shortfalls from last season and make things better. It's just unfortunate that he's in the military so has to work away. A committed manager would leave the forces and find a local job 😂😂

It's now been confirmed... Hayle Thirds will play Threemilestone Reserves in Division Four on their 3G. Well done to both clubs for their flexibility.

Wth the Hayle game being called off last night, they could have easily dispersed and declined the league's request... Threemilestone exactly the same this morning.

What an asset 3G's are.

Div 4

Marazion 4  Chacewater 2  h/t 3-0

A minute's silence for former Chacewater Committee man John Symons was observed impeccably prior to kick off.

Pitch was in superb condition at Marazion which, after today's deluge, was surprising.A very strong diagonal wind, however, was the dominant factor. It was a competitive match but played fairly.

Scorers Jamie Dunstan & James Martin for Chacewater.

Thanks to Craig and Marazion FC for the hospitality and to Neil Harvey who reffed superbly.

Hayle 3rds 0-4 Threemilestone reserves (L.Patterson, G Patterson,Pridham, Harvey)

A great top of the table clash played on the new astro at Hayle. Tms started well when after 5 minutes Liam (Porpus) Patterson spotted the home keeper off his line & fired the away team into the lead from well inside his own half. Tms continued to dominate & went 2-0 up when Glen Patterson rode a nasty tackle to play in Will Harvey who curled his shot into the top corner leaving the keeper no chance, great advantage played by the referee. The dragons went 3-0 up after a corner failed to get cleared, Chris Pridham thought he had scored but referee deemed the ball hadn't crossed the line, Paul Suddes then struck a thunderbolt which was blocked on the line & the ball fell to Glen Patterson who faked a shot, fooling the entire Hayle defence & then calmly rolled the ball into the corner. The stones weren't finished & before half time had a throw in deep in Hayle territory, G Patterson rolled his man & looped a cross in to Pridham who hit the bar with his header but made no mistake with the rebound from 5 yards. The second half was much closer, both sides bringing on their full allocation of subs, neither side creating many chances but both keepers doing well to keep the score as it was.

A good game of football played in extremely windy conditions, the Threemilestone wing backs Tom Goodman & Will Harvey doing well to keep the tricky Hayle wingers under wraps & Porpus Patterson marking the in form Danny Ford out of the game.

Game reffed very well by Eric ??? Who was being assessed on the day.

Thanks to Hayle for the hospitality & the spread put on after the game. Best of luck for the rest of the season, you played your part in a great game.

Falmouth United 4 New inn Titans Res 3    Great advert for football at this level with some very tidy passing play by both sides in gale force winds. No questioning of any of the match officials decisions and my mom went to the Titans keeper who made some brilliant saves. Well done to both clubs

Eric Sleeman. The advantage for the second goal was very well played. Well done for giving Eric the credit and recognition for it. As a referee, it's a good feeling seeing a goal materialise from an advantage.

She was a bit windy!!

St Erme 1 - 4 Frogpool Res.

Div 3

Terrible conditions, soft pitch meant this game wasnt for the purists, but after scouting us a couple of weeks ago St Erme clearly saw something and wanted to get the game on. We won the toss and that was huge and we had the advantage of the wind and downhill 1st half before pitch was wrecked too much.

HT 0-3

St Erme pushed more 2nd half had a couple of chances. 1 open goal. but scored an absolute screamer from 30+ yards. we made a few changes and killed the game with 10 minutes to go catching St Erme on the break

FT 1-4

Great battling and team

performance from us, so glad for a big squad for games like today, everyone had a part to play.

Thanks to the referee Duncan Stevenson, for allowing the game to go ahead, carry on when injured and just letting players get on with it in the mud. dont think he gave a free kick in the 1st half :)

Frogpool goals;

Mike Cruse

Dan Higgins

Kevin Smith

Shaun Smith

That concrete must have softened this week pitty

Haha was still a bit soggy and interest levels on a score of 1 to 10 were hovering just above 0 when it lashed it down right before kick off.

Holman SC 5-0 St Agnes final score.........would add more in the report about managing to actually play in goal use the 18yd box thingy and not get sent off for once, Ash and his bullet header or Kyle not being able to hit the proverbial barn door for most of the match for which he was awarded d*** of the day and has the privilege in washing the slightly muddy kit!!!! However I have to dash as in a slight oversight managed to book ice skating at Eden at 1600 for the kids when the Liverpool v Man U game kicks off #epicfail 🤬😫😂
