Bruegel the Elder
The two giants of their leagues, first and second respectively, should prove interesting to calibrate the skills gap between Premier and division one. Meanwhile the battle of the former, now struggling, ex-giants will be equally interesting, in 6th & 7th place in the league, with the away side three points adrift with two games in hand. A battle for, what would once have been the crown of the peninsula, but now for the “little bit of Cornwall in the middle” tiara!

scousemouse
Have we seen the end of the Bodmin "dynasty"? Something has obviously changed at Priory Park. Players have left and the club seems to be on decline. Perhaps Darren has lost the hunger

Ian Pethick
St Austell do seem to be a side that runs hot or cold. On their day, unplayable (ask Parkway fans), but when it's not, awful (see Ivybridge result last week).

Mike Odgers
How many dual registerred players do Bodmin have? Corey Harvey (gk)(Truro NL and Parkway, WL)-Kai Fisher (Bristol Manor Farm S.L) _Harry Evans (Tiverton S.L.) are there any more? ideal for midweek but what for team morale. Also I sadly looked down the SWPL transfer list and counted almost 30 transfers in and out of Bodmin this season so they are far from a settled side. Now Ed Timmons Red Card and probably some injuries so what will the squad be for the next Vase game at Willand Rovers?--

To still be in touching distance of Tavistock, Saltash, St.Austell, all established sides, who have kept the bulk of their players for the last few seasons & for 'makeshift' Bodmin who are still under transmission ( 11 new players in the summer ) still getting to know each other, to still be up there with the so called big guns is remarkable. 😀

Agree with you Mike on the subject of dual registrations, I understand that it is useful to clubs in order to plug any injury, suspension and unavailability gaps (and is not against the rules) but it must have an effect on team morale and tactics. Confusing for supporters as well when players continually come in and out.
Tribute
Watching on Wednesday and couldn’t see a leader in that team , someone to take the game by the scruff . Could of and should of been more , St Austell creating good chances and the only chances for Bodmin were when St Austell got a bit over confident at the back . As for the result midweek if you take 5 players that would start most games, unfortunately against a team like St Austell you are going to get found out full credit to them they exposed our weaknesses well in the night and were ruthless but we bounce back before and we’ll do it again and hopefully respond on Saturday 👍🏻👍🏻

Maybe Bodmin are looking to have a “ladies” team after all! About time too, as well as an affiliated second team and youth team. That’s what gives a club stability, as well as access to grants! sportsman10
Clubs using about 50 players a season brought in from other teams is a joke. I admire the teams that have the injury problems but bring a few youth players to help out who jump at the chance to go into the first team. To many players think they are ronaldo now dropping down to play in the peninsula league after a taste of a step up.
