gingerninja
I've been saying for a little while a new clubhouse wouldn't go amiss. Great news for the club moving forwards, hopefully bring in some extra revenue if it's able to be hired out

Rob1978
What is the small building being built on the players entrance side? Is it some kind of storage unit/tractor garage? Thanks

As the build for the new clubhouse commences, it was very quickly realised that the existing toilets would be out of use due to their location. So the decision was made to build the separate facility opposite the players entrance to the changing rooms. This will also satisfy any future ground grading requirements for eventual promotion to the Southern League. It will also keep the new club house free from muddy football boots from the kids playing on the grass area. The new toilet block will have facilities for male, female and disabled along with a designated physio room, which is also a requirement for promotion to higher leagues. We put all the toilets into the main block, it's the biggest mistake we made.

Smart ground at Penryn but one set of toilets to be used by players, officials and clubhouse users (at my last visit anyway)
Rob1978
Thanks. Great to see that the club is planning ahead, in order to eventually have a southern league standard ground.
