Lanivet Walking football

Had the pleasure  of playing   walking football this morning in a friendly    at  Lanivet community centre,  very impressive it is great changing facilities , nice Muga , and food in the pub afterwards great morning , were made very welcome  , pity about the score 5- 1 to the home team , equal first half but the second half we were under the cosh  , learning curve for us West Cornwal. , a bit short on numbers today  , but beat fair and square the old knee is sore now , but enjoyable  , we are still looking for one or two more to join our team,  the only  thing is you have to be over50 ,  there must be some ex players in the Penwith area  that fancy a game , another tournament  next month at Bodmin , we train Sunday mornings  at Mounts Bay 9-10  on the 3g  or if wet inside in the sports hall   , rolling subs  in games , don't underestimate  the walking football  it is better than it sounds . If you need any information  message me on here . The winner of the tournament  has a change to represent  Cornwall in the people's cup , so that might be a an incentive for some .
